For this new guest post, I am happy to welcome Eman, the inspiring and creative mum behind “Tala and Mommy” .  She is a pharmacist turned into a SAHM (stay at home mom). She loves to do learning activities and crafts with her daughter, Tala.
I warmly thank her for sharing her great Arabic teaching ideas!
Here is her post:

How do you teach your kids Arabic alphabet? Sensory play is one of the greatest ways to do that.
Here I got some ways to help you set up activities to help kids learn the alphabet in a fun way.

1. Play dough:

Kids adore play dough, so why not engage it in learning the alphabet. They can learn and strengthen the small muscles at the same time. And even figure out how to build the letters.

2. Alphabet Hunt:

Here in this activity, I have got a winter-inspired rice sensory bin where the kids should look for the alphabet and match them on the snowballs. And you can change the theme but the main idea is to look and match.

3. Recycling some material:

Cardboard and bottle caps are my favorite. Bottle caps are great for making the alphabet, especially for the dotting. And Kids can paint a cardboard letter for a change.

4. Nature Play:

We should always include nature in our learning techniques.

As in this activity, we planted carrots (جزر) for letter Jeem (ج ).

5. Prewriting skills:

All you have to do is put a thin layer of salt, rice, or sand in a tray and the kids use a paintbrush or even their fingers to either trace a letter or write from scratch.
